This position would provide someone with the opportunity to learn about systems of care, treatment planning and discharge planning (which would include community resources). Located in Winter Park, FL; duties in this role include, but are not limited to:

• Completes weekly, bi-weekly and monthly UM and Compliance reports; communicates results of reports to staff and investigates discrepancies.

• Completes reports of funding status for all clients which includes verification of insurance for clients, monthly batching, updates changes in EMR and communicating with staff.

• Maintains familiarity with myriad of funding streams/managed care and requests for authorizing/reauthorizations needed funding; responsible for sending, tracking and communicating authorizations to team members.

• Works with revenue department to investigate zero fees, billing errors, denied services, duplicate services, aging and EOBs.

• Reviews psychiatric billing and ensures documentation is submitted correctly and timely.

Position Details:

Salary: Starts at $16.50 - 19.36 / hr (rate is based on education and relevant experience).

Schedule: Full time; Monday-Friday 9-5

Location: Remote/Hybrid (Orlando, FL)

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required

Experience:

• At least two years of progressively responsible office experience. Experience in a mental health setting preferred

• High level organizational, communication, and customer service skills strongly preferred

• Must be adept in Office 365 applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Calendar, Teams, Forms, OneNote and OneDrive) required .

Schedule:

• Must be able to complete a3-day(Monday - Wednesday) virtual new hire orientation class;

Other Requirements:

• Valid driver's license required

• Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Screen and TB Test
