Every day as a Admissions Specialist for our residential treatment program you will...

  • Review and respond to admissions referral packets

  • Facilitate the admission process to ensure timely processing of referrals

  • Act as a liaison between external organizations and Families

  • Ensure all admission documents are accurate for processing

  • Maintain a high level of open communication

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree preferred

Experience: Minimum of three years experience in marketing at an organization that provides health care services, preferred. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and project management skills. Requires strong data collection skills utilizing computer applications. Ability to be adaptable, flexible and change activities quickly. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint & Access) and database management.

Valid driver’s license required.
