The mission of the Devereux Center for Resilient Children is to promote social and emotional development, foster resilience, and build the skills for school and life success in young children, as well as the adults in their lives Located in Villanova, PA, this position is responsible for working collaboratively with and providing support to the Director of Professional Development for Devereux’s Center for Resilient Children (DCRC), and overseeing general office operations. This position will be part-time, working up to 20 hours/week.

Job Responsibility:The Coordinator of Professional Development Learning Events will:

  1. Ensure all event participants have the required materials in a timely manner;

  2. Maintain inventory and purchasing of supplies and materials;

  3. Track, monitor, and maintain data bases of, training materials, revenue and customer data. Monitor systems to maintain efficiencies and ensure continuous flow of information to appropriate parties. Run and distribute reports monthly or as directed;

  4. Maintain systems to ensure that team functions are performed with high quality, efficiency and responsiveness.

  5. Establishes rapport with customers and can confidently and accurately communicate information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required;

  • Excellent written and verbal customer service skills; Excellent phone manner;

  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple/tasks/assignments at once;

  • Demonstrated ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills;

  • Good data collection, database management, and analytic skills utilizing web-based and software applications;

  • Proficiency in Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint;

  • Ability to work independently and perform follow-up;

  • Team Player;

  • Valid driver’s license and care is required;

  • Ability to lift light loads of up to 25lbs occasionally.
