We are looking for caring and compassionate people who want to work in a group home setting with adults (over the age of 22) in the Sterling area.

Base Pay starting at $18/hour, additional compensation offered for higher education/relative experience in the field up to $21.02

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 3-11pm

$1,000 sign on bonus

In our community group home in Sterling individuals learn the skills needed for independent living and are encouraged to make meaningful life choices. Our goal is to support individuals to access the services they need, build community connections and to achieve the best quality of life possible.

As a Direct Support Professional, you are a teacher - coaching and demonstrating skills to increase individual’s independence, relationship builder - developing positive connections with individuals, their friends and families and their DDS service coordinators and an environmental manager - monitoring the safety and security of the home and community.

Responsibilities may include coaching and assisting in hygiene routines, chore completion, meal preparation, administration of medications, completion of required paperwork, planning and facilitating recreational activities, assisting with transportation and supporting individuals in working and achieving their goals.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Must have a valid drivers License

• High school diploma/GED required

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• Must be able to attend a 2 week paid orientation, which runs Monday-Friday, 8AM to 4PM.

• Schedule post orientation: Sunday - Thursday 3-11pm
