Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse Behavioral Health (PRN) in Kennesaw, Georgia

Description

We are seeking Two (2) Registered Nurse for PRN positions. Must be able to float between 1st and 2nd Shifts.

  • 1st Shift (7 AM - 3 PM)

  • 2nd Shift (3 PM - 11 PM)

RNs: Rates start at $34/hr., with additional $ given for experience.

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct care nursing and will also be responsible for administering medications, providing medical treatments, completing admissions, and actively engage with the youth served and their families/guardians.

* For your protection, all Nurses will be fit-tested for the N95 mask. An N95 mask will be worn when working with children with infections. A medical evaluation will be completed, unless exempt under the standards.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Completion of accredited RN program andcurrent Georgia Nursing License required.

  • Six months to one (1) year of Nursing experience is highly preferred.

  • Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus.

Other qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

  • Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.

  • Weekend availability and holidays required.

  • Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.
