Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our main campus is located in Berwyn PA. Our dedicated team of over 600 staff ranging from highly-specialized clinicians and nurses to recreational and direct staff professionals, all work to one common goal the happiness, self-fulfillment and social integration of each adult in our community. As a direct support professional you will assist in daily living activities, including health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation and documentation to include shift reports, incident reports and individual progress reports. You will maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional and personal needs of the individuals we serve.

Qualifications

Education Masters degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Education, or related field.

Experience Must have strong applied behavior analysis skills and experience working with children/adolescents/adults with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, significant challenging behaviors, and/or emotional/behavioral disorders. Demonstrates proficiency conducting functional behavior assessments, writing Positive Behavior Support Plans, and evaluating plans for effectiveness across multiple client environments (e.g., school, home, community, RTF). Requires the ability to conduct effective staff and parent/family training. Strong skills in the areas of behavioral consultation and performance management are also necessary. The ability to review and interpret existing behavior analytic research and contribute to the design and implementation of applied research projects and program outcomes studies. Experience and training in effective behavioral supervision techniques and the ability to provide BCBA supervision as needed. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications.
