Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Colorado provides programs and services for children with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses. Located at our main campus in Westminster, CO this position will plan, organize, and help facilitate the employee orientation program and ongoing training programs. They will insure that trainers maintain the highest level of quality, safety, and effectiveness, and will insure full compliance with all Devereux and regulatory requirements related to orientation and training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Organizational Development, Training & Development or a Human Services field required. Masters degree in Training and Development preferred.

  • Minimum of three years experience in staff training, orientation, and development preferred. Requires anunderstanding of adult learning theory; some experience in curriculum design; and knowledge and skill intraining techniques, blended learning, methods (including e-learning) assessment and evaluation.

  • Experience with effective learning management systems including documentation and record keeping, tracking, compliance, and strategies to promote learning in the workplace.

  • Prior experience in thebehavioral healthcare field optimal.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, presentation skills, customer service skills, and multi-tasking skills. Must possess good judgment and be able to make effective decisions independently. Must be able to establish a learning environment that is safe, supportive, andethical. Able to work collaboratively to meet the needs of licensors, administrators, program supervisors and staff. High energy level and positive outlook are essential.

  • Must be able to complete and provide proof of current influenza vaccination.

  • The state of Colorado mandate requires all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. To be considered for employment, you will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or have an approved medical or religious exemption prior to your start date.

Physical Requirements : Significant and frequent amounts of walking, standing, kneeling, bending, stooping and reachingabove shoulder level. Must be capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs. Normal hearing and vision. Moderateto significant travel; irregular hours. Frequent use of office equipment requiring repetitive wrist/handmovement. Free of dependency and abuse of illegal or illicit drugs, alcohol, inhalants or other chemical orcontrolled substances.
