Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New Jersey provides programs and services for children, adolescents, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Located in New Jersey, this position is responsible for supporting the success of Program Managers in their role. This includes facilitating a positive experience from day one through 90 days of employment to support the learning, development, performance, and acculturation of new PMs by assisting the PM in navigating their new role and relationships, as well as collaborating with seasoned employees to facilitate the welcome and acceptance of new members of the team. The Retention Specialist works in coordination with supervisors and operations management to develop the competence and confidence necessary to be successful in the PM role.

Qualifications

  • Must have previous direct care with succesful and applicable develop plan activity

  • Supervisory or program management experience and demonstrated leadership skills.

  • Proficient and comfortable with technology, including Microsoft Office applications, and clinical, risk, HR, and learning systems.

  • Must have clear and effective written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.

  • Strong organizational and time management expertise is required.

  • Ability to work on multiple assignments and prioritize tasks accordingly.

  • Ability to lead and influence people by example, and effectively provide constructive feedback is needed.

  • Comfortable dealing with complex issues.
