The Quality Improvement Coordinator reports directly to the Data Manager and this position will work remotely.
As our Quality Improvement Coordinator at Devereux New Jersey YOU will:
The QI Coordinator is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and implementation of the annual CQI Plan for Devereux NJ.
Practical knowledge of tools and techniques of Continuous Quality Improvement, including analysis and interpretation of data is essential.
Conduct physical plant reviews
Documentation reviews, data analysis and interpretation, and internal trainings.
The QI Coordinator will provide support to the Operations team and the Leadership of the organization in matters of quality improvement, compliance with Medicaid requirements and licensing standards.
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New Jersey touches the lives of nearly 500 children, adolescents and adults, and their families, across the state. Individuals with emotional, behavioral and cognitive disabilities, including autism, are served through a broad spectrum of treatment settings, including community-based homes and supported apartments, vocational training programs, family care homes, and consulting services.

Education: Bachelors degree in Human Services, Health Care Administration or Social Services field or related degree. Masters degree preferred.
Three years experience in a health care residential or community services setting.
Must possess knowledge of Quality Management activities and be familiar with relevant regulations.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of information systems, database management, and processes for data collection and analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and solid organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Strong customer service skills, dependable and detail oriented.
Ability to anticipate problems and formulate resolutions.
Excellent technical skills- MS Word, Excel, Email, Internet and Databases.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task with excellent time management
Ability to interact with all levels of inside and outside the organiztion.
Knowledge of DDD regulations and licensing standards preferred.
