The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Assistant Operations Director. This is a remote/work from home position, but must live in NJ, PA or DE.

As our Program Coordinator at Devereux New Jersey YOU will:

  • Ensure that Medicaid eligibility is maintained

  • Facilitate the planning and coordination of individual service plans

  • Follow-up on Medicaid Eligibility lapses to ensure reinstatement in 30 days

  • Review service plan authorizations to ensure accurate services are reflected

  • Work with the Program Director to address over/under utilization in the program

  • Work with Supports Coordinator to address inconsistencies between program needs and plan approval

  • Review of Individual Financial Ledgers on the SharePoint Library

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New Jersey touches the lives of nearly 500 children, adolescents and adults, and their families, across the state. Individuals with emotional, behavioral and cognitive disabilities, including autism, are served through a broad spectrum of treatment settings, including community-based homes and supported apartments, vocational training programs, family care homes, and consulting services.

Qualifications

Education: High School required, Bachelors degree preferred

Experience:

  • Experience in Medicaid and treatment planning required

  • Previous experience working with the Division of Developmental Disabilities

  • 3 years' relevant experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and solid organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

  • Strong customer service skills, dependable and detail oriented.

  • Ability to anticipate problems and formulate resolutions.

  • Excellent technical skills- MS Word, Excel, Email, Internet and Databases.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with excellent time management

  • Ability to interact with all levels of inside and outside the organization.

  • Knowledge of DDD regulations and licensing standards preferred.
