The Information Systems Specialist will be based in West Deptford and reports to the Information Systems Manager.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New Jersey is seeking a hands-on Information Systems Specialist. This position is responsible for providing Information Technology (IT) support for employees throughout Gloucester, Mercer, Ocean and Monmouth Counties.

Common responsibilities include responding to requests for assistance, setting up phones and computers for new users, installs, and performs or arranges for routine maintenance services for all Center communications equipment as directed. Recommends replacement and upgrades as needed. Maintains and updates inventory of all equipment. Evaluates equipment capabilities and recommends equipment acquisitions. Assists in the acquisition of all new materials and maintenance contracts. Ensures that all equipment and purchases are compatible with Devereux requirements. Performs equipment training for Center employees. Assist any Center user with questions or concerns in a timely and accurate manner.

Education :High School Diploma or equivalent such as GED.Completion of a computer/information systems technical educational program, or equivalent job related experience required. A+ Certification preferred.

Experience :

  • One year of experience with PCs, LANs, WANs, and experience providing technical support to employees located both on site and at remote locations. Knowledge of multiple software applications required.

  • Self-motivated withexcellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve malfunctions of devices in a timely manner.

  • Knowledgeable ofdesktop applications, devices and communications providers. Proficient with desktops, laptops and applications including MS OfficeSuite.

  • A high level proficiency with MS Excel in order to maintain data and create reports.

  • Must have strong communications andinterpersonal skills.

  • Maintains a professional demeanor and attitude when dealing with customers/employees.

  • Must be able to protectand maintain confidentiality of information.

  • Good problem solving skills and good organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize work andmeet customer demands and deadlines.
