Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Senior Clinical Director/Psychologist in West Chester, Pennsylvania

Devereux Pennsylvania Children Services is seeking a full-time Licensed Psychologist to fill a Senior Clinical Director role. This role will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of clinical care for individuals and provide supervision of clinical staff and interns/students for children's programs in West Chester and Malvern, PA.

  • Strong collaboration across service lines within the center, both with other Directors and across the Clinical Department.

  • Training graduate students – direct involvement with Doctoral Internship program; Clinical Supervisors also oversee Doctoral level practicum students and/or Masters level interns.

In this role, you will report to the Executive Director and use your expertise to:

  • Ensure the delivery of all aspects of clinical services including; treatment and discharge planning, clinical documentation, family, group, and individual therapy, clinical quality management, implementation of evidenced-based treatments, testing/assessment, clinical outcomes initiatives, compliance with Medicaid and other regulatory requirements, and involvement in and support of Devereux Corporate clinical initiatives.

  • Function as a member of a multi-disciplinary leadership team and provide overall direction for clinical service delivery in collaboration with other disciplines.

  • Oversee the provision of clinical consultation with, and training for, other disciplines as needed.

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services serves children, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in Glenmoore, West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, our services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), Residential Treatment (RTF), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training, and social skills training, and educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

  • Doctorate Degree in Psychology Required (Ph.D. or Psy.D).

  • License as a Psychologist required.

  • At least 5 years of previous clinical experience at a supervisory level in a behavioral healthcare setting.

  • Proficient computer skills and strong organizational skills.

  • Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines.

  • Valid driver's license must be maintained.
