Night Supervisor

As a Night Supervisor at Devereux’s Children’s IDD programs you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. Our environment is fast paced, ever changing and offers a sense of personal satisfaction and self fulfillment while serving as a key member of a treatment team.

Devereux Children’s IDD Residential Programs provide long term treatment and education to children and adolescents 8-21 years of age who have varying levels of intellectual and developmental disabilities. Located in West Chester, PA this position is responsible for:

Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen , a screen ing that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.

EDUCATION: Associates Degree or 60 credits required. Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Sciences or related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Two years experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or behavioral

disorders. Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms

(Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position). Strong organizational skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks

simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines. Valid driver's license must be maintained.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to administer CPR. Ability to administer first aid. Ability to properly restrain

adolescent/adult clients. Ability to create and maintain a therapeutic milieu. Regularly requires walking, standing, stooping, bending,

and pushing/pulling (1/2 to 3/4 of the workday). Seldomly requires sitting.
