What is the SPARC Program?

Southeastern Pennsylvania Autism Resource Center is a department of the Devereux organization, offering empirically-validated behavior treatment programs for individuals with autism, as well as individuals with behavioral concerns or other developmental disabilities. SPARC’s values and clinical strategies align strongly with our 107-year-old organization and mission, which is focused on changing lives by unlocking and nurturing human potential for people living with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences.

In this role you will: Conduct appropriate assessments to develop and/or modify Positive Behavior Support Plans. Train and coach staff, and/or parents in the necessary interventions so plans can be correctly implemented. Maintain and analyze data. Directly implement and supervise implementation of baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions.

  • Master’s degree from a behaviorally-based, accredited college/university in special education, psychology or other related field;

  • Must hold a current BCBA certification;

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the direct delivery of behavior analytic services to people with autism spectrum disorders/behavioral challenges as a BCBA and at least 1-year experience consulting/working within a school preferred.

  • Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
