Job Summary: Conducts appropriate assessments (including functional behavioral assessments and/or analyses) to develop or modify Positive Behavior Support Plans. Develops and monitors Behavior Support Plans for efficacy. Assesses psychological and program needs of assigned individuals. Serves as a member of assigned individuals' multi-disciplinary Team and may be responsible for development of appropriate IEP and/or ISP goals.Trains and coaches staff in the necessary interventions so that plans can be correctly implemented.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health PA Children’s IDD Services, located in West Chester, Pennsylvania , provides a variety of assessment, treatment, and educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges.

Qualifications

Education : Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education or related field. Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) preferred.

Experience : Must have strong applied behavior analysis skills and significant experience working with children/adolescents/adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders. Significant experience writing Positive Behavior support plans and conducting FBAs, and training staff also required. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications. Valid driver’s license must be maintained.
