Being a Administrative Support staff for our Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) program at Devereux has its Advantages

At Devereux as a Administrative Support staff for our ID/ASD and ID/MH Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) program you will impact the individuals in our care by ensuring administrative tasks are completed timely, and you provide a high level of customer support to internal and external teams as needed.

Everyday as a Administrative Support staff you will.....

  • Assist with scheduling of meeting and document meeting notes

  • Provide administrative office support to the RTF team

  • Maintain office supplies and departmental needs

  • Support RFT record keeping and be a liaison with providers regarding the same

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), residential treatment (RTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services provides a rich, evolving continuum of 24-hour, out-of-home residential services for children and adolescents living with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences. We offer several residential programs, each with their own focus. These programs are customized to serve the unique needs of children and adolescents. Our residential programs provide each child, and their families, with the skills and resources needed to reach the greatest level of personal happiness and success.

Qualifications

Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.

Candidates must be 21 years of age and maintain a valid driver's license

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. One year of specialized training preferred.

Experience: Proficient computer skills, mastery of MS Office, experience with data collection.analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position) Strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines.
