Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health – Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Program Manager for our STARR program, an off campus group home located in Webster, MA and serves co-ed youth, ages 6 to 12, on a rapid reintegration care program. With a 1:3 staff to student ratio, the emphasis on STARR is to identify and treat safety/risk factors, barrier behaviors, factors that precipitated placement, and facilitate reintegration of the youth to the family or next appropriate placement in the shortest time period possible, usually within a matter of days.

You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. You will supervise staff, run shifts, assist the Program Manager with development of programming for the unit and attending Treatment Reviews as part of the milieu team. You will have opportunities to interact directly with clients as well as staff.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health - Massachusetts and Rhode Island provides programs and services for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Located in Webster, MA, this position is responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned and provides and ensures therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.

Two years’ experience working directly with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to be flexible, patient, energetic, and creative
Have a strong passion for working with and helping adolescents/adults with special needs
Must be 21 years of age
Valid driver's license
