We are seeking a Master's Level Clinician who has experience with the student population and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with learning differences and mental health/behavioral challenges. If this describes you, then look no further!

For over 50 years -- The Glenholme School, part of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, has provided a comprehensive residential program and services for children with learning differences and special needs. The Clinician will conduct mental health assessments and provide ongoing individual, and group counseling services, screen for trauma and human trafficking, and crisis intervention services. He/she will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, other clinicians and Mental Health Workers to maintain a therapeutic and emotionally healing environment and establish treatment goals and assist in the implementation of the individualized treatment plan. He/she will complete all required program documentation in a timely manner and to designated quality standards.

The IDEAL candidate will…

  • Hold a minimum of a master’s degree in social work with clinical experience serving program population.

  • LMSW or LCSW required.

  • Valid Connecticut Certification; Social Worker (071).

  • Knowledge of Special Education procedures (IEP development, PPT process) preferred.

  • DBT experience preferred.

  • Have 2-3 experience with student population and in residential or inpatient setting.
