The Clinician will conduct mental health assessments and provide ongoing individual, and group counseling services, screen for trauma and human trafficking, and crisis intervention services. He/she will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, other clinicians and Mental Health Workers to maintain a therapeutic and emotionally healing environment and establish treatment goals and assist in the implementation of the individualized treatment plan. He/she will complete all required program documentation in a timely manner and to designated quality standards.

The IDEAL candidate will…
Hold a minimum of a master’s degree in social work with clinical experience serving program population.
LMSW or LCSW required.
Valid Connecticut Certification; Social Worker (071).
Knowledge of Special Education procedures (IEP development, PPT process) preferred.
DBT experience preferred.
Have 2-3 experience with student population and in residential or inpatient setting.
