Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Glenholme School provides programs and services for students ages 10-21 with autism spectrum disorders, including Asperger's, ADHD, OCD, Tourettes, depression, anxiety, and various learning differences. Located in Washington, CT, this position is responsible for providing various level of support, instructions and supervision appropriate to each students' cognitive, emotional, social and psychological development based on an assessment of each students' abilities, strengths, potential and learning style.

This position will also include one weekend shift per month working with students in the residential program and extra-curricular activities, with one weekday off.
Bachelor's degree in education or related field with a Special Education Teacher certification.
Experience with Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support strategies required.
12 Month Position working all year round
Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
