Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Development Manager in Villanova, Pennsylvania

The Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Regional Development department, is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and creativeDevelopment professionalto join our team as a Development Manager, working out of our Villanova office. As a Development Manager at Devereux, you will support the Regional Development Director in executing Devereux’s fundraising strategies to: 1) perform prospect research, donor solicitation, and stewardship efforts including events, special recognition of donations, and donor communications;2) ensure movement on action plans of Advisory Boards, Center Executive Directors, Development staff and other volunteers and internal staff.

Our ideal teammate is a great collaborator and creative/outstanding fundraising or sales leader who understands fund development and the Southeastern Pennsylvania region.

  • Must have at least five years of professional experience in fundraising or sales leadership. Additional charitable giving training a plus; Nonprofit experience in behavioral health, healthcare and/or a nonprofit setting is also a plus.

  • Experience in sponsorship solicitation, major giving and working with board members;

  • Strong organizational skills;

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and outstanding customer service skills;team player attitude.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure of deadlines, strong attention to detail and dollar goals;

  • Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office Applications;

  • .Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing/Public Relations or related field.Masters degree in Communication, Marketing/Public Relations, or nonprofit administration a plus.

  • Proficiency with social media platforms, strategy and best practices for businesses.
