Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Case Coordinator in Viera, Florida


This position starts at $15.50/hr ; rates increase with relevant experience

The Case Coordinator must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as the face of the treatment team to families and external team members. We offer:

This position would provide someone with the opportunity to learn about systems of care, treatment planning and discharge planning (which would include community resources). Duties in this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of discharge letters/formal letters sent to external team members

  • Tracking of clinical documentation, time management of treatment team meetings and small team meetings

  • Management of contact lists and additional Profiler clinical documentation.

  • This integral clinical team member may attend court or MDTs on behalf or with a child.

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • At least two years of progressively responsible office experience. Experience in a mental health setting preferred


  • Must be able to complete aone-week(Monday - Friday) new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Orientations are offered in Orlando, FL and Titusville, FL.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid Florida driver's license

  • Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Screen, Physical, Physical Abilities Test, TB Test and Influenza Vaccine

  • Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.

  • The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) COVID-19 vaccine mandate requires staff without an approved medical or religious exemption to be fully vaccinated to be employed in this program.
