What is People Operations?

JOB SUMMARY: The People Operations (PO) Assistant serves as the Victoria Center front desk Receptionist and is responsible for communication operations of the central switchboard, assisting campus visitors, and providing support for People Operations department and Devereux employees. In this role, the PO Assistant will assist with recruiting and onboarding new employees.
The People Operations (PO) Assistant is also responsible for the efficient flow of correspondence and other materials relative to department and Center business, typing, filing, and other general clerical duties.
Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree in Business Management or Human Resources preferred.
Minimum one year Human Resources experience required. Additional administrative experience in an office setting
Minimum of two (2) years administrative experience, preferable in a healthcare setting.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word & Powerpoint) and email. Experience in HRIS preferred.
