This is an opportunity for someone with recruitment experience looking to grow and develop as a Recruitment Specialist! It is also an equal part recruiting and sourcing position.

As the Recruitment Specialist you will:

  • Create and manage requisitions and applicants through our applicant tracking system.

  • Position is a combination of recruiting and sourcing

  • Screen all applications/resumes and forward to hiring managers for review.

  • Conduct phone-screens as necessary, complete reference and background checks and extend job offers.

  • Creatively source for open positions, and develop proactive recruiting techniques.

  • Establish relationships with local colleges, and attend job fairs and other recruiting opportunities.

  • Coordinate the first day of new hire orientation and train the HR portions.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate:

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelors Degree preferred, equivalent work experience will be considered.

  • Minimum three (3) years high-volume recruitment experience, preferably in healthcare, human services and/or non-profit setting.

  • Sound decision making and problem solving skills.

  • Knowledge of state and federal employment law.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, and Human Resources Information systems, specifically applicant tracking systems.

  • Must have exceptional written/oral communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects across multiple disciplines autonomously; ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Requires demonstrated proficiency using multiple techniques for candidate identification, including, but not limited to: referrals, internal databases, internet sourcing, social recruiting, cold calling and direct recruiting to obtain qualified candidates.

  • Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children

  • Attend required one (1) week of paid New Hire Orientation; Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

  • Must be able to pass 39-month DMV check

  • Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results

  • Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)

  • Must be able to complete and provide proof of current influenza vaccination

The Federal Government COVID-19 vaccine mandate requires most staff working at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona to be vaccinated. In order to be employed at this center in this position, you must:

  1. If vaccinated - provide proof of vaccination prior to start date.

  2. If unvaccinated:

  • Receive the first dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine or a one-dose COVID-19 vaccine prior to providing any care, treatment, or other services by Dec 5, 2021 ; and

  • The necessary shots to be fully vaccinated – either two doses of Pfizer or Moderna or one dose of Johnson & Johnson – by Jan 4, 2022 .

  • Note: If you are getting the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, you must get this vaccine by Jan 5, 2021 .
