Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Crisis Support Specialist in Tucson, Arizona


Reporting to the Program Manager, the Crisis Support Specialist (Coordinator) is responsible for the coordination of care, treatment planning, service delivery, and case management of our placement preservation and crisis stabilization services. This position formulates treatment plans, assessments, clinical impression, and discharge planning. The Crisis Support Coordinator also provides support to individuals, families, and placements to help stabilize behaviors and avoid disruption. You will work closely with the Child/Family Team to identify the supports needed to ensure stabilization and maintain stability successfully moving forward.

Pay Range: $19 - $20.90 / hr

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday; ability to work afternoons/nights

  • Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalency. Bachelors degree preferred

  • High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma at least four (4) years of full time behavioral health work experience; OR:

  • Has a high school diploma or equivalency diploma and a combination of education in a field related to behavioral health and full time behavioral health work experience totaling at least two (2) years; OR:

  • Has an Associate's degree and at least two (2) years of full time behavioral health work experience; OR:

  • Has a Bachelor's degree and at least one (1) year of full time behavioral health work experience


  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)

  • Must be available to attend two (2) weeks of new hire orientation (paid, Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm) plus 2-3 weeks of on the job training

  • Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results

  • Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment

  • Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check

  • Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)
