Located in Tucson AZ, Our Brief Intervention Program is a short-term residential facility which provides enhanced residential services to male and female adolescents ages 12-17. They stay up to 30 days in our structured treatment setting which includes 24-hour supervision and therapeutic services. This program is designed for adolescents who are in crisis, requiring active treatment in an environment with a high degree of oversight, intensive programming, and treatment.
A Crisis Clinician provides individual, and/or group therapy services to residential clients, as well as family therapy for clients and parent/guardians. This position collaborates with the Clinical Program Manager, other Clinicians, and Behavioral Health Techs to maintain a therapeutic environment. The Crisis Clinician assists in the implementation of the individualized treatment plan and is an effective member of the multi-disciplinary team internally, as well as an active participant on identified client's CFT teams.

Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field required
Preferred - Current and valid associate or independent level license through the AZBBHE (LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LASAC, LISAC); OR ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Clinical Internship and one (1) year of relevant experience working within the behavioral health field working with children in a residential setting
Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft office programs
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
Significant and frequent amounts of walking, sitting, and standing are required; routine light lifting of 20 lbs. or less.
Valid driver's license and pass DMV 39-month history check
Current unrestricted AZ Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
Drug test within 24hrs of offer with negative results
Able to attend full time paid New Hire Orientation Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
