Being a Clinical Coordinator for our Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) program has its Advantages!

The Clinical Coordinator supports the Program Manager in maintaining and delivering high quality therapeutic services to TFC Individuals who have a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral complications. Provides clinical oversight and supervision/support to the Therapeutic Home Specialists. Provides clinical support and intervention to the Therapeutic Home Providers and the TFC Individuals in their care. Serves as a back-up and support to the Program Manager and the overall needs of the TFC program.

The TFC Program has a “work from anywhere” policy. As such, the Clinical Coordinator can work remotely and/or in the office according to the individual’s preference. However, some job duties to require in-person participation.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health ArizonaTherapeutic Foster Care Program serves children ages 5 to 17 with significant behavioral and emotional needs. Clients are referred to Devereux via Arizona behavioral health networks, and several tribal entities. Therapeutic foster parents are extensively trained to address client intense needs and work with them toward their treatment goals.

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or other related field.

  • AZ behavioral health licensure a plus

  • Supervisory experience required

  • Three (3) years of work experience in foster care or behavioral health related field.

  • Extensive experience in the provision of community living and supervision of children in out-of-home care.


  • Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)

  • Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check

  • Must be able to attend the required new hire orientaion for 1 1/2 weeks (Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm)

  • Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)

  • Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)

  • Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results

  • Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
