Being a Care Coordination Specialist for our Brief Intervention Program has its advantages!
Located in Tucson AZ, Our Brief Intervention Program is a short-term residential facility which provides enhanced residential services to male and female adolescents ages 12-17. They stay up to 30 days in our structured treatment setting which includes 24-hour supervision and therapeutic services. This program is designed for adolescents who are in crisis, requiring active treatment in an environment with a high degree of oversight, intensive programming, and treatment.

Our Care Coordination Specialist provides administrative, clinical, and other supportive services to the clinical team in the assigned program within Pima Residential programs. This position works cooperatively with clinical, direct care, and administrative staff to provide the necessary support to facilitate treatment and maintenance of records. Responsible for responding to case inquiries; assisting with admissions and prior authorization process as well as and providing assistance with clinical documentation, and completing required reports for both internal and external of Devereux.

High School Diploma or equivalent required ; Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred
One (1) year of work experience in behavioral health delivery system
Intermediate or advance Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge and background in assessment and treatment planning development
Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with numerous staff and clients successfully
Ability to make decisions and meet deadlines
Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)
Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check
Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)
Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)
Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results
Must be available to attend mandatory one (1) week of New Hire Orientation paid training (Monday -Friday 8:30am-5:00pm)
