Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Boost Rapid Response in Tucson, Arizona

Description

Position Details:

Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.15/hr. (depending on experience/education)

Hiring Bonus: $1,000

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona’s Outpatient program provides in-home remedial intervention for at-risk youth and families identifying youth and family strengths and needs to enhance the Child and Family Team (CFT) planning process. We work with families and youths in their homes, teaching a variety of skills ranging from self-care, household management, living, and social. We are looking for talented individuals who have experience working in Behavioral Health, with families and at-risk youth to be a positive role model and impact on our families!

Located in Tucson, AZ, the Family Support Counselor (Boost Rapid Response) will be responsible for the coordination of care, treatment planning, service delivery, and case management of our Secondary Responder Program. You will formulate treatment plans, assessments, clinical impression and discharge planning. This role will provide support to clients and placement to help stabilize behavior and avoid disruption throughout a 45 day program. The Family Support Counselor takes recommendations regarding access to care following discharge and will work closely with the Child/Family Team with regard to service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related Human Services field required OR Five (5) years of experience in human services field in lieu of degree

  • Experience in cultural diversity, substance abuse, domestic violence, crisis intervention, effects of child abuse and neglect on child development, sexual abuse, mediation, and other interventions preferred

  • Experience working with multi-problem families and ability to work as part of a diverse group

  • Ability to relate well to families of varied lifestyles, backgrounds, and ethnicities

  • Have problem-solving abilities

OTHER:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)

  • Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check

  • Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)

  • Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)

  • Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results

  • Ability to attend full time, paid, New Hire Orientation Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
