Located in Tucson AZ, Devereux’s Brief Intervention Program (BIP) has the capacity to serve 24 children in a behavioral health residential setting which includes 24-hour supervision and therapeutic services. The BIP is a safe and supportive environment that serves youth, ages 9 to 17, who are experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges. We offer two program tracks for individuals we serve, the Brief Intervention Program (BIP) which serves as a short term, out of home crisis stabilization for youth and the Assessment and Intervention Center (AIC) which includes clinical assessments, a Functional Behavior Assessment with Behavior Support Plan, and a psychiatric evaluation with medication monitoring during the youths stay. As part of the clinical team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple disciplines when formulating treatment for the individuals we serve. The multi-disciplinary team includes clinicians, behavior specialists, nursing, and a psychiatrist.

As a BCBA, you will assess, design, oversee implementation, and monitor the efficacy of applied behavior analysis treatment programs. BCBA's supervise ABA treatment teams, conduct appropriate assessments designing and modifying function-based interventions and skill acquisition treatment plans, as well as train and mentor ABA Tutors and Lead ABA Tutors.

  • Masters Degree with Certification required

  • Licensed as a Behavior Analyst (LBA) and BCBA certification required

  • Two (2) years of experience working in the field of ABA and/or I/DD to include

  • Two (2) years of experience of implementing behavioral treatment plans

  • One (1) year of experience in performing behavioral assessments - developing, writing, implementing and evaluating individual and/or unit wide behavioral programs; and training staff in behavioral principles and procedures


  • Must possess valid driver's license & pass 39-month DMV history check

  • Current AZ fingerprint clearance card with NO restrictions - or ability to obtain one

  • Ability to attend full time, paid, New Hire Orientation Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm

  • Must be able to complete and provide proof of current influenza vaccination

  • Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
