The Case Coordinator must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as the face of the treatment team to families and external team members. We offer:

This position would provide someone with the opportunity to learn about systems of care, treatment planning and discharge planning (which would include community resources). Duties in this role include, but are not limited to:
Providing discharge planning and family-based aftercare support for at least six (6) months post-discharge; discharge planning shall include input from the child, the child’s parent or guardian, foster parents, caregiver, Department, and guardian ad litem, and a copy shall be provided to the child’s welfare professional
Planning development and discharge, the child’s diagnosis shall be considered.
Providing aftercare support plans shall be developed at least one month prior to discharge; aftercare support shall be developed to meet the needs of a child with intent for the child to reside in the most appropriate, least restrictive setting.

- Must be able to complete atwo-week(Monday - Friday) new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Orientations are offered in Orlando, FL and Titusville, FL.

Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Screen, Physical, TB Test and Influenza Vaccine
Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
