The Director of Quality Improvement and Organizational Development reports directly to the Executive Director and is part of the Center Leadership team. This position can be remote or hybrid.

What Devereux Looks for in YOU:

  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and implementation of the annual Continuous Quality Improvement Plan, Learning Plan, Retention Plan and Utilization Review Plan for Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New Jersey.

  • Leadership and supervision to ensure supports and direct services demonstrate a culture of customer service excellence, servant leadership and diversity, equity and inclusion.

  • Design, develop or update learning materials and resources (delivered in classroom, e-learning, blended or informal learning methods).

  • Monitor and periodically re-evaluates/updates learning programs designed to improve recruitment, development, retention, front line supervisory practices and leadership skill-building.

  • Systematically integrate Quality Improvement processes throughout the center.

  • Identify/develop and implement standardized tools and processes for meaningful project management, data collection, analysis and reporting.

  • Provide support to operational partners with accreditation/licensure/regulatory assessments and follow up actions.

  • Ensure the New Jersey center is aligned with the Devereux national strategic pillars, objectives, key results and tactical plan.

  • Collaborate with center leadership to develop meaningful Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and outcome measures.

  • Coordinate routine measurement, communication and revision of strategic key performance indicators, tactical plans and outcomes.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of meaningful data sets to identify areas of strength, areas of need, patterns and trends.

  • Adept at analyzing data and communicating results of analysis for problem solving and development of mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.

  • Experience managing a team with at least 3+ years supervisory experience.

  • Knowledge of quality improvement processes, performance measurement and measurement tools.

  • Knowledge in survey development, administration, and analysis.

  • Knowledge of data management software including spreadsheet development and use.

  • Must have previous training/teaching experience and demonstrated leadership skills.

  • Proficient and comfortable with technology, including Microsoft Office applications, and clinical, risk, People Operations, and learning systems.

  • Must have clear and effective written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.

  • Strong organizational and time management expertise is required.

  • Ability to work on multiple assignments and prioritize tasks accordingly.

  • Ability to lead and influence people by example, and effectively provide constructive feedback is needed.

  • Comfortable dealing with complex issues.
