The Behavior Specialist will be based in Somerset, NJ and reports directly to our Clinical Administrator/BCBA.

The Behavior Specialist provide behavior support to their assigned programs.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New Jersey provides programs and services for children, adolescents, and adults with IDD. Located in Northern, NJ, this position is responsible for demonstrating competency in developing and implementing behavior support programming, habilitation goals and objectives, and creating therapeutic environments.

Qualifications

To qualify, we require:

  • Must have a Master's degree.

  • Basic knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis or behavior program implementation strongly preferred.

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disability strongly preferred.

  • Must have a Valid Driver’s License.

  • Must be able to complete a two week new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.
