The Assistant Operations Director is located in Northern, NJ and reports directly to the State Operations Director.
The Operations Director develops, administers and oversees program operations for multiple regions to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for the individuals in our care. The Operations Director is responsible for ensuring the delivery of all professional services, has oversight of all the financial components including budget development and adherence and upholding high quality standards of care, programming and intervention for a variety of community residential settings. The Operations Director develops and implements processes for compliance with federal, state and local regulations, to include agency requirements and quality improvement.
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New Jersey touches the lives of nearly 500 children, adolescents and adults, and their families, across the state. Individuals with emotional, behavioral and cognitive disabilities, including autism, are served through a broad spectrum of treatment settings, including community-based homes and supported apartments, vocational training programs, family care homes, and consulting services.

Education : Master’s Degree in Education, Special Education, Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Business Administration or a related field is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree is required.
A minimum of ten (10) years working within the field of human services, with at least five (5) of those years in a managerial role.
Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Consistently meets deadlines, ability to prioritize, multi-task and flexibility.
Previous experience and knowlege of monitoring and managing fiscal responsibilities of a group home or residential setting.
