Position Details:

Pay Range: $38 - $41.80 / hr. (based on experience/education)

Shift Differentials: $2/hr. 3:00pm - 11:00pm; $4/hr. 11:00pm - 7:00am, 7 days a week

Devereux will pay for your license renewal CEUs as part of our nurse continuing education program

Schedule: 10:00pm-10:00am; rotating three 12-hour shifts per week

Devereux Arizona’s Residential Treatment Center (RTC) is a beautiful 24-hour, 10-acre campus located in the heart of Scottsdale. It is a safe, supportive environment that provides various services to youth, from the ages of 5 to 17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or substance abuse challenges. The Campus features dormitories, a therapeutic K-12 day school, food services, medical/nursing, and therapy services.

As a Registered Nurse , you will provide direct daily medical management for our adolescent population, as well as provide, review, and follow-up to medical providers as to the effectiveness and/or possible side effects noted of each medication administered. This position provides supervision regarding safety issues/crisis intervention for the campus population, infection control protocols, and general overall medical management. The RN will maintain effective communication with all departments involved with direct client care and provide education/training of direct care personnel involved with the Medication Technician Certification Program at the Group Home Level.

Qualifications

• Current valid RN license to practice in Arizona with no restrictions required

• Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing required , Bachelor's degree preferred

• Six (6) months nursing experience required

• Previous behavioral health experience with children/adolescents or pediatric nursing preferred

• Excellent communication, relationship management, and multitasking skills

• Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children

OTHER:

• Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check

• Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions ( OR eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)

• Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)

• Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results 

• Must attend the two (2) weeks of paid New Hire Orientation; Mon-Fri (8:30am-5:00pm) followed by on the job training
