Being a Program Coordinator at our Residential Treatment Center has its Advantages!

As Program Coordinator at Devereux , you will coordinate the activities and day to day operational functions of the Residential Treatment Center while ensuring a safe, clean and therapeutic environment. You will be required to work as assigned with all clients on any dorm and at any time, alone or not.

Located on a beautiful 10-acre campus in the heart of Scottsdale, Devereux Arizona’s 24-hour RTC and Therapeutic School, has the capacity to serve 48 children. The RTC is a safe and supportive environment that provides youth, from the ages of five to 17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral or substance abuse challenges. We also provide an on-site accredited K-12 therapeutic school, which offers an academic curriculum while students receive intensive behavioral and emotional support.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Services or related field OR High School Diploma/GED with five (5) years related experience required .

EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree with two (2) years related experience OR High School Diploma/GED with five (5) years related experience required.

• One (1) year supervisory experience required

• Proficient computer skills required in MS Office, Profiler and Radar.

• Well organized, skilled communicator and systems thinker

• Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results.

• Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check

• Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)

• Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)

• Demonstrates leadership skills, strong verbal communication, written, organizational and time management skills and the ability to work on multiple assignments and prioritize accordingly.

• Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
