As an On-Call Clinician at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. We offer:

Located on a beautiful 10-acre campus in the heart of Scottsdale, Devereux Arizona’s 24-hour RTC and Therapeutic School, has the capacity to serve 48 children. The RTC is a safe and supportive environment that provides youth, from the ages of five to 17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral or substance abuse challenges. We also provide an on-site accredited K-12 therapeutic school, which offers an academic curriculum while students receive intensive behavioral and emotional support.

As an On-Call Clinician you will provide individual therapy and group therapy services to clients at the residential treatment center. You will be used to cover for other clinicians on the team when they are out, and also be used as support to provide additional therapeutic services to clients who are struggling and would benefit from extra therapy sessions each week. You will also complete assessments and treatment plans as well as all required documentation related to the client.

Qualifications

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field

  • Current and valid associate or independent level license through the AZBBHE (LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LASAC, LISAC); or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

  • Clinical Internship and one (1) year of relevant experience working within the behavioral health field required

  • Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft office programs

  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Current unrestricted AZ Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card

  • Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
