As a DCP, you will also use your experience and education in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Education or other related field to:

• Actively assist our individuals with their individualized plans for daily living and ensure our individuals are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment.

• Assist with the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.

• Plan and participate in community outings, and schedule/transport our individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.

• Be a mentor to other staff and conduct observations and provide feedback for required trainings.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona provides programs and services for children/adolescents with behavioral health support. Located in Scottsdale, AZ, this position is responsible for assisting individuals in the participation, involvement and routine of their individualized program. You will work directly with the children/youth to be seen as a positive role model, dedicated and truly caring about their well-being. You will assist and support the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of individuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Education or other related field OR High School Diploma with 12 years relevant Human Service experience required

• Previous experience preferred (not required) working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional and behavioral disorders, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders.

• Driver’s license is required
