Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Director in Rutland, Massachusetts

Description

Do you have proven leadership and experience in creating, monitoring and analyzing the quality of processes in order to improve outcomes for a healthcare organization?

Based out of Rutland, MA, this critical role directs and coordinates the Center Quality Management program and monitors compliance with all regulatory agencies, as well as monitors and evaluates client care services for quality and appropriateness, and for resolution of identified problems. This position reports to the Executive Director and is a member of the senior leadership team.

As the Director of Quality Management, you will use your expertise in the field to :

  • Oversee all quality improvement activities and assure meetings are appropriately documented as defined by Center Plans. Provide review of committee and department meeting minutes and abstracts relevant

performance improvement information.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable policies, procedures, standards and practices. Coordinate the Center’s efforts in maintaining compliance with internal Devereux standards (e.g., policies and procedures,

CQSV standards, best practices) and with state, local, and federal standards and regulation (e.g., DHS operating standards, placement agency requirements, Joint Commission).

  • Serve as Center liaison with Corporate Clinical/QI team for outcomes and participate in monthly QI calls and Clinical/QI meetings as determined.

  • Provide guidance and support in the development, revision, and implementation of performance improvement initiatives/activities. Coordinate the collection and analysis of data as needed for performance improvement

studies shares.

  • Participate in the risk management program by overseeing the incident reporting system.

Qualifications

EDUCATION : MA Degree required.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years previous experience in a behavioral healthcare setting. Previous experience in utilization review and/or admissions. Two years of previous supervisory experience. Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position). Strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines. Valid driver's license must be maintained.
