Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health - Massachusetts and Rhode Island is located in Rutland, MA and serves students with complex mental health and behavioral challenges. This position is responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned and provides and ensures therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Active driver’s license is required .

• High-school diploma required, Bachelors preferred

• Previous experience preferred working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional and behavioral disorders, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders.

• Completion of Diana Screening during interview

• 2 weeks of orienation training (paid): Monday - Friday 8-4pm in Rutland

• Schedule after training: 3-11pm

Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
