Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health - Massachusetts and Rhode Island’s main campus is located in Rutland, MA and provides educational services, residential and group home services and adult services to the most vulnerable members of our society in the areas of autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, specialty mental health, and child welfare.
As a Direct Care Professional, you will assist in daily living activities, including emotional and behavior support & management, health and hygiene management, cleaning, and recreational activities for the individuals we serve. You will actively mentor, coach, monitor, re-direct and support our individuals and maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment. You will also be responsible for accurate documentation, including, but not limited to, shift reports, incident reports and individual progress reports.

Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
Bachelor’s degree required or twelve years of related experience.
Previous experience preferred (not required) working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional and behavioral disorders, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders.
Must be able to obtain a Massachusetts driver's license within six months or hire.
