Devereux Advanced Behavioral health has an immediate opportunity for a seasoned Community Director.

This position will be responsible for the operations of multiple group homes. Responsibilities will include program development, budget management, and supervision of program employees. The development of operating protocols, development of community partners, and delivery of quality milieu services are key functions to this role.

You would be responsible for the overall daily operations of a group home including program development, supervision of group home staff, management of program budget, integration of community opportunities for youth, and assurance of quality of milieu services.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health - Massachusetts is located in Rutland, MA and serves students with complex mental health and behavioral challenges. This position is located in Rutland, MA and is responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned and provides and ensures therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree (or actively pursuing) in Human Services, Sociology, Special Education, Counseling or Psychology.

  • Minimum of five years in residential treatment or group home settings, including 2 years in supervisory role in the human services field.

  • Experience with community based integration.

  • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.

  • Consistently meets deadlines, ability to prioritize, multi-task and flexibility.

  • Willingness to be on-call.

  • Previous experience and knowlege of monitoring and managing fiscal responsibilities of a group home or residential setting.

  • Experience with DDD licensing site visits preferred.
