Do you have what it takes to teach vocational skills to students within pre-vocational and vocation programming sites? if you answered yes, Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health has a fantastic opportunity for you!
The Job Coach is responsible for teaching vocational skills to students within pre-vocational and vocation programming sites and will mentor, teach, coach and provide supervision to multiple students at a work site in addition to completing work orders themselves (providing guidance). In addition to teaching technical job skills, coaches will also help students learn important skills such as effective interpersonal interactions, work ethic, communication, customer service, workplace safety, teamwork and job search/acquisition skills. The coach will be responsible for ensuring that the work assignments for their site are satisfactorily completed.
Administrative duties include but are not limited to student time cards, on-boarding students into the program, documenting treatment plan goals, progress notes, communicating to internal and external team members, resolving student performance issues, documenting and providing performance feedback to students, coordinating services as needed with the Vocational Coordinator.
Schedule: Sunday through Thusday 11am - 7pm

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health - Massachusetts and Rhode Island provides programs and services for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as mental health and behavioral health challenges . Located in Rutland, MA, this position is responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned and provides and ensures therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.

EDUCATION : High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's Degree is preferred.
