Devereux Massachusetts Program is seeking a Full-Time Clinician for their campus-based Therapeutic Day School program in Rutland, MA. The program provides academic and therapeutic services to children and adolescents with mental health and/or neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorders, I/DD, etc). The Clinician works closely with Case Managers and school leadership to provide individual and group therapy, as well as classroom-based intervention.

The clinical treatment interventions pull from a variety of evidence-based models depending on the individual needs of the student. Frequently used models include: CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Behavioral interventions. The clinical program model for the school is a combination of Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) and trauma-informed care. The ideal candidate will have experience providing mental health treatment and behavioral interventions.

Devereux Massachusetts is located on a beautifully wooded 160-acre site in the New England countryside (approximately one hour from Boston and 15 minutes from Worcester, MA) that provides a peaceful setting for treatment and education, along with ample recreational activities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in mental health counseling or related field of study

  • 3 years direct clinical experience required
