Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health – Massachusetts, West Meadow, is located in on the main campus in Rutland, MA and an serves ASD male youth, ages 8-12, With a 1:3 staff to student ratio, the emphasis on West Meadow is to teach, coach and support our students to learn daily living skills, coping skills and social skills while staying active and having fun.
Being a Assistant Program Manager at Devereux has its Advantages .**
You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. You will supervise staff, run shifts, assist the Program Manager with development of programming for the unit and attending Treatment Reviews as part of the milieu team. Two years’ experience working directly with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to be flexible, patient, energetic, and creative
Have a strong passion for working with and helping adolescents/adults with special needs
Must be 21 years of age
Valid driver's license
