  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

Located in Phoenix, AZ, the Revenue Cycle Manager will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable activities for the Devereux Arizona Center. Provides daily supervision and support to AR financial specialists to ensure the management of revenue systems as per Foundation policy. Manages and provides direction to the AR team to ensure prompt and accurate coding, billing, collection, and payment postings of all revenue operations. Develops best practices that create efficiencies for the Finance Department and for operations management. Communicates with payors to resolve billing issues and any discrepancies on payments. Reviews billing system reports and works with programs to ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue and billing generation. Responsible for set AR targets. Performs related duties, special assignments and projects as required.

Qualifications

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Education: High School Diploma (or GED) required; Bachelor’s degree in related filed preferred.

  • One (1) year in accounts receivable/billing/collections (with Bachelor's degree) OR four (4) years (with HS Diploma).

  • Strong computer literacy and receivables software knowledge. Knowledge of behavioral health terminology preferred.

  • Certified Professional Biller (C.P.B.) or certified coding specialist preferred

Other:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)

  • Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check

  • Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)

  • Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)

  • Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results

  • Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
