Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Lead Registered Behavior Technician in Phoenix, Arizona


Position Details:

Pay Range: $19.00-20.90/hr. (compensation based on experience/education)

Hiring Bonus: $1,000

Mileage reimbursement

Schedule: Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday; Must have day time and late afternoon/early evening availability

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona provides programs and services for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum disorder. Located throughout the Phoenix area, we provide high quality one-on-one ABA treatment for individuals with Autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities. We work in our clients’ home, center, school, and community environments to provide the highest quality services and meet our client needs.

Lead ABA Tutors (RBT) will provide high quality one-on-one and group-based ABA treatment for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities, who display a wide range of skill deficits and behavior excesses, in home, center, school, and community settings. The Lead ABA Tutor will work under the direction of a BCBA and will receive ongoing training and supervision.   • Bachelor's Degree in related field AND Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification; Certificed Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) preferred

  • Six (6) months of experience with ABA procedures and their application to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities; one year of experience preferred

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills necessary with the ability to multi-task

  • Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form


  • BCaBA and BCBA practical experience and supervision available

Additional information:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)

  • Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check

  • Must be able to attend the required new hire orientaion for 1 1/2 weeks (Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm)

  • Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)

  • Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)

  • Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results

  • Must be able to complete and provide proof of current influenza vaccination

  • Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
