Position Details:

Pay Range: $22.00-24.20/hr. (pay based on experience/education)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (other hours as needed)

Hybrid Work: Remote and in-office time

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona, provides programs and services for youth and adolescents with a variety of mental and behavioral health challenges.As a People Operations Generalist, you will provide quality People Operations services to all internal and external customers. This position carries out responsibilities in multiple areas including administration, employee benefits, workers compensation, new hire orientation, recruitment, and data reporting. The People Operations Generalist also answers questions on departmental services and functions.

  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • Four (4) years of People Operations (HR) experience OR one (1) year with a Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with HRIS required

  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws preferred

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)


  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Ability to attend full time, paid, New Hire Orientation Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

  • Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check

  • Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)

  • Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)

  • Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results

  • Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
