Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Family Therapist - Remote in Phoenix, Arizona


Position Details:

Pay Range: $55,000-60,500 (compensation based on experience/education)

Hiring Bonus: $2,000 (full-time)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, with late afternoon/early evening hours (10:00am-6:30pm);

Devereux is looking for a passionate Clinician interested in providing specialty Autism-informed counseling services. Located throughout the Phoenix area, our Autism-informed Counseling Program provides individual and family therapy for children and adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Our Clinicians work with a multidisciplinary team to decrease stress and anxiety, improve parenting dynamics and family systems, and teach pro-social skills that positively affect quality of life.

As a Clinician you will meet with individuals and families to complete assessments and design individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices, such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). You will complete all required documentation related to the individual, monitor clinical outcomes, and serve as an active member of the Child and Family Team. In addition to our autism-informed counseling services, Devereux also provides specialty programs for youth that have been sexually trafficked, LGBTQ+ youth, including gender variant youth pursuing Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), younger populations, adolescents and transition-aged youth, group and family therapy modalities, youth that struggle with substance abuse, youth with mood disorders and suicidal ideation, and more! Our Clinical supervisors have extensive experience and expertise in all levels of care. And, our Board approved supervisors with LCSW’s, LPC’s, and LBA’s can assist you in preparing for licensure.

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field

  • Current and valid associate or independent level license through the AZBBHE (LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LASAC, LISAC); OR ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

  • Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft office programs

  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)


  • Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)

  • Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check

  • Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)

  • Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)

  • Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results

  • Must be able to complete and provide proof of current influenza vaccination

  • Ability to attend full time, paid, New Hire Orientation Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

  • Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
