Position Details:

Pay Range: $19 - $20.90 / hr (based on experience/education)

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday; afternoon/evening shifts

Mileage Reimbursement! Position requires commuting around the Phoenix area

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona’s Meet Me Where I Am program provides in-home remedial intervention for at-risk youth and families identifying youth and family strengths and needs to enhance the Child and Family Team (CFT) planning process. We work with families and youths in their homes, teaching a variety of skills ranging from self-care, household management, living, and social. We are looking for talented individuals who have experience working in Behavioral Health, with families and at-risk youth to be a positive role model and impact on our families!

As a Behavior Coach , you will provide in-home remedial intervention for at-risk youth and families (working with children, youth, and adults) under the Arizona 12 Principles and in conjunction with the Child and Family Team Model. Behavior Coaches teach a variety of skills such as living, social, self-care, and household management to children, adolescents, parents, and care-givers.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check (position requires commuting during shift)

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field highly preferred

• Experience working in the behavioral health field; previous experience as a Behavior Coach highly preferred

• Documentation and field experience

• Computer skills such as MS Office, email, internet, and database experience; must be able to type at least 30 WPM

OTHER:

• Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions ( OR eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)

• Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)

• Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results 

• Must attend the one (1) week paid New Hire Orientation; Mon-Fri (8:30am-5:00pm) follow by 3 weeks of on the job training

• Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
