Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health's BHRS provides support and behavioral intervention to children and adolescents ages 2-21years in school, community or home settings for families residing in Chester County. Offices are located in Wayne, PA but geography of case assignments is taken into consideration for staff as much as possible.
The responsibilities of this role is to provide one-to-one interventions to a child (ages 2-21) at home, school or in a community setting. Carries out specific interventions that are developed by the Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC) and/or Interagency Team. Transfers skills to child's natural support in the least restrictive environment.
We currently have PT hours available.

Qualifications
EDUCATION: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, education, criminal justice, or
similar human service field, with no previous work experience; persons with a bachelor's degree in any other field, with the equivalent
of at least one year of full-time paid work experience in a job that involved direct contact with children or adolescents; licensed
registered nurses, with the equivalent of at least one year of full-time paid work experience in a job that involved direct contact with
children or adolescents; persons with an Associate's Degree, or sixty credits towards a Bachelor's Degree of Science degree in Social
Work, with the equivalent of at least three years of full-time paid work experience in a job that involved direct contact with children or
adolescents; Licensed Practical Nurses, with the equivalent of at least three years of full-time paid work experience in a job that
involved direct contact with children or adolescents.
EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents preferred. Dependent upon educational background
(see above). Requires strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and computer skills. Must be adaptable to changing
workload, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and available to work a flexible work schedule. Must be at least 21 years of
age.
Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
